Executive Sous Chef
As the executive sous chef at Swinomish Casino & Lodge, A.J. gets to do a lot of the behind-the-scenes administrative tasks that must be done to keep our restaurants stocked and the business flowing. He’s responsible for hiring and scheduling the kitchen staff, ordering food and making sure his team has the resources they need to work efficiently. On top of that, A.J. helps expedite food for Swinomish Sports Bar and trains his team members. A.J likes that he gets to work with people whose personalities mesh well together to create a fun and productive work environment. During A.J.’s downtime, he loves going to Lake Whatcom in Bellingham with his dog, Rocky, and his two daughters.
