Casino Host Manager
“If you’re going to dance, you have to pay the fiddler.”
Since 2010, Kevin has built an ideology in the host department that customer service comes first. He believes that greeting each guest with extra hospitality on a daily basis is extremely important in maintaining Swinomish Casino & Lodge’s reputation of being the friendliest casino around. Before working in the casino business, Kevin spent years as an educator and a college baseball coach. From 1979 to 2002, Kevin played and coached for Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho and was the pitching coach on the 2002 national championship team. While working as a coach, Kevin always heard about fun events happening at the casino and thought a career here would be exciting and fulfilling. Being an excellent people person, it only seemed natural for Kevin to start a career here where he could interact with guests and build relationships. During his free time, Kevin loves to spend time with his wife and three daughters, as well as camp, fish and travel. Honesty, loyalty and being able to effectively communicate are all values that he stands by and practices at home and work when interacting with guests. His winning personality has made for a smooth transition into his role at Swinomish Casino & Lodge.
