Swinomish Casino and Lodge was recently featured on King 5’s New Day Northwest during a segment highlighting:
Daniel Van Norman, head chef of 13moons restaurant, walked host Margaret Larson through a delectable salmon recipe, sharing his tips for cooking and seasoning the salmon to bring out all of the flavor.
Van Norman also shared about the origins of 13moons, the inspiration behind the restaurant, and how the restaurant embodies Swinomish tribal values in the ingredients it uses throughout the year.
Lodge General Manager Dallas Widmark was also invited to share about the local community, and the exciting expansion and renovation project that is currently getting underway.
“We’re going to be adding about 18,000 square feet to our gaming floor, the casino will get a new 24 hour restaurant, a coffee bar, and the sports bar will also be getting an update,” Widmark said, noting the excitement of the project and what it meant for guests and team member alike.
