Mt. Erie
Drive or hike to the top of Mt. Erie and experience panoramic views for miles. About 10 minutes from Swinomish Casino & Lodge, make sure to pencil this in to your visit.
Mt. Erie Park is accessible via road, but also has a trail to its summit and is a great destination for a hike on a nice day.
DIRECTIONS: From Swinomish Casino & Lodge, take Casino Drive to SR-20 West. Head west for a few miles, then turn left to stay on Highway 20 towards Oak Harbor. Staying straight on the Highway 20 Spur will take you into the city of Anacortes. Turn right onto Campbell Lake Road and drive about 1.5 miles along the lake. Turn right onto Heart Lake Road (look for the Mount Erie Grocery and take the road to the right of the store.) Less than a mile from the grocery store, turn right into the gravel parking lot. From here, you can choose to drive to the top or get your heart-rate up by hiking to the summit.
